When it comes to theholidays, everyone has traditions. Special meals, family gatherings, church services. We have always found it interesting to hear about others’ family traditions and share our own. The crew here at The Neomag all have different variations of similar traditions, but I wanted to share my favorite one with you.
My family has always attended Christmas Eve services at our church, and while the venue and format has changed over the years, there’s one thing that hasn’t. At the end of the service, after the message and singing some hymns, we have always done the same thing. The lights are dimmed, everyone lights a small candle, and we sing Silent Night by the glow of candles. It’s so peaceful and calm in those few minutes and always centers me on the reason for the celebrations we will be having for the next couple of days.
We would love to hear from you about your favorite tradition! Leave a comment below and let us know what your favorite Christmas traditions are. We’re looking forward to reading through them. Who knows, maybe you’ll inspire someone else’s family to adopt the same tradition! Thanks for reading.
